COLOR SCAN-TO-NET OPTION |
![]() THE UPGRADE WITHOUT A DOWNSIDE Color scan-to-net takes advantage of the Synergix Scan Systems unique design as a scaleable product that is able to unlock new hardware capabilities through downloadable software keys. This advancement presents a cost-effective solution for CAD, GIS, reprographics, and graphic arts professionals, by eliminating the need to buy new hardware when a performance upgrade is desired. With full color scanning, the Synergix Scan System captures 24 color bits per pixel allowing you to accurately capture red, blue, or any other color technical document markups without loosing the changes. You can also scan in your wide-format color maps, artwork and photographs, to edit and print out whenever you want. Scanned images can be stored as either JPEG or TIFF files on your network or can be imported into an Imagesite repository. This solution makes color scanning and storage easier and more affordable than ever. And best of all unlocking color doesn't significantly lower your scanning capacity. The Synergix Scan System is capable of scanning a D-size 24 bit image at 400 dpi in one-and-a-half minutes making it one of the fastest color scanners in its class. It is interoperable with all XES printers supported by the AccXES Controller, making it a flexible solution to meet any customer's needs. XES supported printers include:
On the X2-TECH color inkjet printer, color scan-to-net provides two-stage color copying. Simply scan-to-file in TIFF or JPEG, retrieve, and then print in full color. For some CAD users, a large-format scanner is as indispensable as a printer or plotter. Traditionally, large-format scanners are used for archiving paper drawings replacing those flat files with digital files. In GIS applications, large-format scanners are used to scan existing maps or aerial photographs. Those who use CAD for large-format design or CAM applications also use this technology. Though these industries include the heaviest users of large-format scanners, all CAD departments should consider the benefits of using them as part of a copy or scan-to-print system. |
